9/11: Critical Insights – Revised
This is the opening paragraph of a recent opinion piece published on Fox News by Liz Peek:
As we approach the 25th anniversary of 9/11, there are many in our country who want us to pretend that the greatest attack on the United States since Pearl Harbor never happened. They want us to look away from the Muslim terrorists who flew planes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, and who drove another plane full of innocents to their deaths in a grassy Pennsylvania field. They want us to forget that on that day in 2001, Americans came under attack for reasons that few understood, from a far-away people who loathe our culture, our freedoms and our country.

Well Liz let’s examine quotes from those who do not accept the official government version of what happened on that Dark Day.

Standing in front of the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, Jamie McIntyre, CNN’s senior Pentagon correspondent since November 1992, reported to Judy Woodruff:
“From my close up inspection there’s no evidence of a plane having crashed anywhere near the Pentagon. . . . . The only pieces left that you can see are small enough that you could pick up in your hand. There are no large tail sections, wing sections, fuselage — nothing like that anywhere around which would indicate that the entire plane crashed into the side of the Pentagon.”

YouTube has removed the video for violating its hate speech policy and now McIntyre insists that he was misunderstood. But McIntyre was not the only first-hand observer who reported the lack of evidence that a plane crashed into the Pentagon. Bob Pugh, freelance photographer, who filmed the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, said in his videotaped account, “I’m looking for wreckage, . . . I can’t see anything that I recognize. I can’t see the tail, I can’t see the wheel, I can’t see the engine. There’s no chairs, there’s no luggage there’s no logo. . . . The largest piece I saw was may be 2 by 3 feet.”

So there you have it. A many highly credentialed people have been challenging the government narrative for twenty five years. Are they really wayward Leftists or is Liz Peek a washed up journalist?
In closing consider this 9/11 tidbit.
An FBI Memorandum from August 18, 2003 concluded that they were unable to find sufficient evidence to prosecute individuals who allegedly profited from trading with advance knowledge of the 9/11 attacks:
“The agents present stated that at present there is no open investigation related to the trading issue and that no case was ever referred for prosecution. As far as the FBI is concerned, there was no evidence ever found of any trading with advanced knowledge of the 9/11 attacks.”

Really? Let’s use one example to expose the incredulity of that claim by focusing on computer hard-drives recovered after the collapse of the WTC buildings. Given that so much of the buildings were pulverized to dust it is stunning that some computer hard-drives even survived the massive damage. But did they really? Well not according to the FBI, specifically that August 18, 2003 FBI Memorandum which states:
“The assembled agents expressed no knowledge of the reported hard-drive recovery effort or the alleged scheme. Alas, here are two block-buster surprises: (1) Many computer hard-drives did survive and (2) according to a December 16, 2001 Reuters article, a German company, Convar, using their pioneer laser scanning technology was able to recover a surprising amount of data!
German Firm Probes Final World Trade Center Deals was the title of the Reuters article:
“The suspicion is that inside information about the attack was used to send financial transaction commands and authorizations in the belief that amid all the chaos the criminals would have, at the very least, a good head start,’ said Convar director Peter Henschel.”
The Reuters article goes on to say that, “Not only the volume but the size of the transactions was far higher than usual for a day like that. There is a suspicion that these were possibly planned to take advantage of the chaos.”
The article concludes with, “I’m sure that one day they will know what happened to the money.”

Obviously, the FBI Memorandum drafted on August 2003 -well after the December 16, 2001 Reuters article – which reported that the FBI and the 911 Commission had no knowledge of any of this was a total hoax. And if they lied about this what else have they lied about???
