The Dark Side of J6  Part 2   Strange Death Of A Homeland Security Agent

During an interview with Tucker Carlson investigative journalist Steve Baker spoke of the strange death of a Homeland Security agent the day before Thanksgiving 2025.

The intrigue began when Baker got a call from a member of the intelligence community who said, “We have to meet. We have to meet now.”

According to Baker his caller picked a place and he met him there. Baker says the first thing the individual did was to take his phone away and put it in his briefcase, which is a Faraday cage briefcase. Afterwards the individual slid a card across the table and asked, “Do you know who that is?” Baker looked at the name on the card and said, “Yeah, of course.” At that point the individual grabbed the card back and said, “He was found dead the day before Thanksgiving.”

Baker claims the last conversation with the name on that card was October 29th. By then Baker was working directly with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), a cabinet-level United States government intelligence and security entity that oversees the 18 different intelligence agencies, because he did not trust the FBI. In turn the ODNI also took the case to the Dept. Of Homeland Security (HSI). And when I took this case to ODNI, as we said before, because ODNI and I and the members of the DIG who were going to look into this had determined that they didn’t trust the FBI either on this case, especially this case. And so they were going to take it to HSI, Homeland Security Investigations.

The liaison partnership with all of the intelligence That’s what the DIG is. The DIG had reached out to all of the 18 federal inteligence agency. Yeah. And and got one of the good guys or two of the good guys from each, you know, agency to come in and work with them. Not deep stater vetted in that manner. This is an individual who was vetted to not be a deep stater. 19 years career with HSI, senior agent over there. They called him in. They briefed him on the entire case. Introduced me to him.

Then:

Baker recounts how in late October, early November, the HSI agent sat down with a team of trusted individuals and briefed them on how he was going to pursue this case, what technologies he was going to use, other personnel that he was going to bring into this to pursue this case.

Baker’s last conversation with this individual was on of October 29th 2025. His girlfriend found him dead in his condo on the 26th of November, the day before Thanksgiving.

According to Baker this longtime operative had tears streaming down his face as he’s talking about this. Baker says how his interlocutor went on to say, “Of course, the rumor is obviously that he committed suicide.” Before concluding with, “None of us believe it. None of us that knew him and were close to him, were friends with him, believe that this was a suicide.”

In response Carlson asked, “What did the medical examiner say? As of July 2026 there is still no report from the medical examiner. Baker went on to say that he retained a retired 25-year FBI veteran, now a private investigator. According to Baker the retired FBI agent/private investigator went to the Fairfax County Police Department in February 2026 and spoke to the lead detective on the case but the detective didn’t provide any information whatsoever except that there still was no report from the medical examiner.

More recently, just in the last few days, we have it confirmed. There’s still no report. In response the investigators formally filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request which the Fairfax County Police Department has completely ignored.

In response to this input Carlson asked, “Are they allowed to do that?” Baker says technically, no, but law enforcement agencies around Washington DC are famous for ignoring FOIAs and went on to explain that’s why organizations like Judicial Watch has to sue them.

In fact on July 7, 2026 Judicial Watch finally received from the Washington, DC, Metropolitan Police Department over 1,000 hours of body-worn camera footage from the January 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol event. Why should it take over five and one half years to obtain information that clearly belongs in the public domain?

In January 2026 Baker drove to the dead HSI agent’s condominium under the pretense he was interested in purchasing the condo. To his surprise he encountered the next occupant who was just moving in claiming “I just closed on it last week.” To which Baker responded,”Oh, darn it. You know, I was looking at that. I was here a couple weeks ago.”

Baker further responded with, “Oh, by the way, “I heard when I was here a couple of weeks ago that there was something weird that happened in that unit.” To which the new occupant responded, “Yeah, I was told that the previous owner was murdered.”
