If you have a PayPal account, beware of the legit-looking scam!
The convincing part is the email address, but PayPal has assured me that the crooks applied for it under a new business address. I called the scammers and only after halfway through the conversation and following their directions did I recognized and discerned that familiar foreign accent and hung up. That’s when I learned the rest from a real PayPal phone call. What follows here is what your fraud will look like, should you get one. Then if you call, they will attempt to direct to a new website that allows them access to your account.
