The first thing that the reader must understand is that this was my friend for more than sixty years. And his belief in his own brainwashing is not only so strong and more important to him than asking for more evidence, paying attention and debating about it and maintaining a friendship, or maybe while even “agreeing to disagree,” than that of his just dissolving a lifetime friendship. THAT attitude reflects some bigtime brainwashing!

I had first mentioned this conspiratorial possibility to Gil face-to-face at his home in Oregon way back in 2003 — that of NASA faking the Apollo 11 moonwalk. Not only was he incredulous, he was outraged! After all, his older brother was an astronaut (since ’71, which gave him zero inside knowledge of the 1969 hoax) and if such a thing was hoaxed, it certainly could not have gotten by him. But Gil doesn’t know that even Werner von Braun himself had said (before JFK was so hopeful) that any trip by man to the moon was impossible because in order to haul that much fuel for a round trip, the spaceship would have to be as large as the Empire State Building! Other astronauts scoffed when JFK predicted publicly about “. . . a man on the moon by the end of the decade.”

And for any truth-seeker who takes the time to look, there is far more evidence available proving it did not and could not happen than there has ever been to prove that it did. But most people, like Gil, won’t check out the facts on their own — even when we supply the info to them.

Here is the latest piece I sent to Gil on the subject. My first in nearly a year. After you have reviewed his following narrow-minded retort, you should review this powerful evidence in order to get the whole picture. I prefaced it with, “Hey, Gil, this is how they fooled us.”

Now you have to understand that this mild debate had been going on occasionally between us for two decades, ever since I mentioned to him my doubts about the authenticity of the moon landing. I have suspected since that he was so dumbed-down by the propaganda that he never even looked at the evidence I was emailing to him because he never replied to any of them. Maybe ten in twenty years. Finally, Gil, at 86, revealed his true feelings (the same that I had long-time suspected) with this regurgitation below.

And here was his response:

Hi Pat,

I have no idea why I am even wasting time to answer your latest insane E-mail. I normally just delete anything you send me because I know that 99% of them are total BS. I know you make your living with all these stupid ideas that you promote. If you recall, I set up a meeting between you and my brother to once and for all explain how your stupid theories would be put to rest once and for all. He spent a lot of time with you and by the way, he was far more brilliant than you or I could ever be.

I once considered you a very good friend, but you are so out of touch with reality that I think it best that you delete me from any further E-mails or correspondence. Personally, I think you are mentally challenged and that you should seek mental help.

I only wish the very best for you. Please do not respond to this E-mail. If you should, I will simply delete it knowing that you have mental problems and unable to truly understand reality.

I want you the reader to understand: Gil is no dummy. His multi-talented past reflects an athletic scholarship to college, a starting halfback slot in SEC football, a jazz singer recorded with no less than Bobby Troup’s orchestra, a leading role in a Hollywood movie, a decade or more as a LAPD cop (after growing disgusted of Hollywood), and certainly no history of stupidity. That is until now. Today he is the latest walking/talking example of how the MSM fake news can dupe anybody into believing whatever is necessary for him or her to believe. Although we have never discussed it, you can bet that Gil also believes that the German army gassed and cremated over 8,000 men, women and children a day, every day, for more than 750 consecutive days — as well as most of the other phony foolishness passed out by the Deception Machine.

Yes, I met his older brother (now deceased) in Texas, bought his lunch in 2003 and asked him to watch a half-hour investigative video report exposing the alleged fraud on the Apollo 11 moon landing and to please counter this evidence with any facts he had. He reluctantly sat with me but had no intelligent comment to challenge any of the facts presented. Gil never has either. Gil offers above about how smart his older brother was, but I found out more with a simple question (proving that Don had been guided by his TV news only) when I asked him if he believed that Oswald had killed JFK. His unhesitating response was, “Yes, I do. So much about how smart brother Don the Astronaut was. He was getting all of his information from the MSM liars just as Gil still is.

I reckon that after seeing the deceptive fake news from Congressman McDonald’s shootdown, Gordon Kahl’s legalized murder, Ruby Ridge, Waco, OKC, the Navy Shootdown of TWA-800, 9/11, Obama’s Birth Certificate and the 2020 election theft (to name but a few), anyone who pays any attention to the Controlled Mass Media is the one with “mental problems” and should desperately “seek mental help.” It is obvious that my ol’ buddy, Gil, has succumbed. I imagine that he also now believes Putin to be our enemy, because that is what he has been told to believe!

I wish all the best for Gil, too, hoping that he lives long enough to see the proof of how blind and foolish he has been, but knowing that he certainly must have also fallen for the covid hoax and taken the jab with at least three boosters, he probably will not. Meanwhile, it has become glaringly true once again, that you can’t teach anything to anybody who already knows it all.
