A COUPLE OF ARTICLES FOR TRUTH-SEEKERS ~

Shades of 1984 in Illinois

by Al Benson Jr.

Any of you that read the book 1984 are familiar with the “memory hole” where all politically incorrect previous history gets dumped and get replaced with Big Brother’s history de jour for today. Of course it may change tomorrow or the day after but that’s neither here nor there. The point is that if it doesn’t fit today’s new narrative it’s gone, never to be seen again.

“Education” leaders in ‘the land of Lincoln” seem to be taking lessons from 1984. A recent article in The Unz Review. The article noted that: “Leaders in education, politics and other areas gathered in suburban Evanston Sunday to ask that the Illinois State Board of Education change the history curriculum at schools statewide, and temporarily halt instruction until an alternative is decided upon. At a news conference State Rep. LaShawn K. Ford said current history teachings lead to a racist society and overlook the contributions of women and minorities.” Have you heard this record before? If not then you have been asleep with Gulliver for the past twenty years!

The article continued: “The state representative is sponsoring a bill that would require elementary schools to teach students about the civil rights  movement.” A couple questions here–Ford wants school districts to remove present history curriculum that “unfairly communicates” history until a suitable alternative is developed.” And just how long would that take? You don’t write a new history book in ten days or even two weeks–or does Mr. Ford already have an alternative “history” book in mind that he can’t wait to spring on the poor kids in Illinois? And should that be the case you might wonder if his  motive is ulterior?

Another question–what will the new book he seems to want teach the kids about the civil rights movement? Obviously not the real truth or he would not want it. The civil rights movement had lots of really suspicious characters involved with it. I’ve written about some of them in the past and their politics were, shall we say, very left of center. Obviously there were some very sincere people in the civil rights movement–but not all of them were, and, unfortunately the left of center ones got most of the publicity and their “solutions” got most of the  publicity.

In checking out Rep. Ford I came  up with an article on https://spectator.us for August 4th of this year. Along with the article was a picture of LaShawn Ford sitting right next to Bernie Sanders at some kind of meeting. The article noted: “But even after six-plus decades of enthusiastic reform, an Illinois Democrat has found a way to be original. On Sunday night, State Rep. LaShawn Ford delivered the well-trod complaint that history classes focus too much on the achievements of white men. The classes must change to deemphasize pale males and highlight the accomplishments of women and minority groups.” In other words, if you don’t like the history then just rewrite it and while you are doing that the kids in Illinois will be deprived of any history whatever. Besides, everyone knows that nothing worthwhile took place before the civil rights movement anyway–right?

Years ago now, investigative reporter Alan Stang wrote a book called It’s Very Simple–The true story of civil rights. Amazon or some other used book place may still have copies. Check and see if you can find one. Mr. Stang is deceased now but in his day he did some penetrating investigation into several subjects and you can still find some of his stuff on the internet.

If we are going to start teaching the kiddies all about civil rights then maybe we  need to begin to look at both sides of that coin–and both sides of that coin ain’t pretty.

Is Tony Fauci Really a Leftist Radical?

by Al Benson Jr.

Over the weekend I watched a video of Congressman Jim Jordan’s questioning of Dr. Anthony Fauci and after viewing it I came away with the distinct impression that if Dr. Fauci is not a leftist radical that he at least has a very warm regard for what they stand for and what they are doing. Thankfully I am not alone in this viewpoint.

Fauci was asked by Jim Jordan if the recent BLM-sponsored protests were bad, in light of Fauci’s warnings about crowd situations. Fauci went out of his way to avoid any criticisms of these protests. He has no problem advocating that churches be shut down or that people be prevented from reopening their businesses but he just could not bring himself to directly speak against these leftist protests. He mumbled some platitude about crowd situations being bad in general–but definitely no complaint against those leftist protests in any concrete way. He just doesn’t have that in him and understanding a bit about his background you can see why.

So I did a bit of looking around regarding Dr. Fauci. There’s some interesting stuff out there, quite a bit of it. To much to list it all here.

I ran across an article for April 9th of this year on https://www.bizpacreview.com by Vivek Saxena, the headline for which was Doting letters, donations raise eyebrows over Dr. Fauci’s devotion to Hillary Clinton.

The article noted that “National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease Director Dr. Anthony Fauci’s ties to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have raised concerns among some conservatives about his objectivity as the Trump administration’s coronavirus point man. Those ties have been documented through various pieces of ‘evidence’ by conservative investigators, including New York Post contributor Paul Sperry. The latest piece of ‘evidence’ is FEC documentation reportedly showing that Fauci’s wife donated $1,200 to Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.” I don’t know why he used the word evidence in quotes the way he did. I have read a fair bit of Paul Sperry’s commentary over the years and always found him to be pretty much on target.

In referring to testimony Hillary gave regarding the Benghazi debacle Fauci wrote “She faced extremely difficult circumstances at the Hearings and still she hit it right out of the park. Please tell her that we all love her and are very proud to know her.” Pardon me for saying so but that’s a lot of balderdash! One man who sent an email about all this wrote: “If you need further evidence that the public health bureaucracy is run by democrats…here is Anthony Fauci’s love letter to Hillary Clinton re her Senate Benghazi testimony” and he notes the same letter I referred to above.

And a Chuck Woolery also emailed: “Is there anyone on stage with President Trump that doesn’t or hasn’t had a relationship with the Clintons? Dr. Burkes (Birx) husband also worked for the Clintons. We know Fauci was a supporter of Hillary. What are these people cooking up?” Good question! What they might be cooking up is ways to make sure Trump looks bad before the next election. And the article by Saxena observes: “While conspiratorial in nature, these observations are rooted in the legitimate concern that Fauci and Birx have been providing poor advice to President Donald Trump.”

Then there was an article on https://bustaroll.org which stated: “Several photographs have now been unearthed that show Fauci and his wife in various social situations alongside both Bill and Hillary Clinton. That may be because Dr. Fauci has worked for 6 administrations over the past 30 or so years, but this connection was obviously not known by the White House at the time of his  hiring. Further investigation has revealed that Dr. Fauci is actually on the payroll of the Clinton Foundation, and has been for more than 20 years.”

And Arthur Thompson, in his new book China–The Deep States Trojan Horse in America tells us, on page 101, that “Dr. Fauci, in his responsibility as the federal infections disease leader, gave $3.7 million of United States taxpayer’s money to the Wuhan laboratory for coronavirus development–after the U.S. declared a moratorium on such funding…”

So I would say that, all in all, conservatives and patriots have good reason to be concerned about what Dr. Fauci is really doing. Mr. Trump needs to be concerned too. Maybe it is time for Trump to find someone other than Fauci to head up his efforts at combatting this Chinese virus.
