Cohen May Be in Line for a Perjury Charge ~

He had no reason to lie to the U. S. Senate last year, but he may have plenty of reasons to be lying now: it’s called “coercion” and “intimidation” and “How would you like to see your kids pictures on the milk cartons?”

HE LIED: Cohen’s Testimony to the Senate Refutes His Claim That Trump Knew About Russian Trump Tower Meeting

On Thursday night Donald Trump’s former attorney, Michael Cohen, claimed then-candidate Trump knew in advance about the June 2016 meeting in Trump Tower in which Russians were expected to offer his campaign dirt on Hillary Clinton.

Michael Cohen could offer no evidence for the claim.

That’s weird because this IS NOT what Michael Cohen told the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence in September 2017.

Cohen told the Intelligence Committee that Donald Trump that he never saw candidate Trump do anything that demonstrated his involvement in Russian interference with the US election.

I have never engaged with, been paid by, paid for, or conversed with any member of the Russian Federation or anyone else to hack Democratic Party computers; and I have never engaged with, been paid by, paid for, or conversed with any member of the Russian Federation or anyone else to create fake news stories to assist the Trump campaign or to damage the Clinton campaign.

Given my own proximity to the President of the United States as a candidate, let me also say that I never saw anything – not a hint of anything – that demonstrated his involvement in Russian interference in our election or any form of Russian collusion.

I emphatically state that I had nothing to do with any Russian involvement in our electoral process.
