Political expert and former Reagan official Mark Levin is a rising star in the conservative political world — and his appearance on Sean Hannity’s show Monday may have been the most powerful bit of news in years.

Levin reveals to the Hannity viewers the simple truth the mainstream media is ignoring: Hillary Clinton effectively “paid for a warrant” to wiretap her political opponent in the 2016 presidential election, Donald Trump.

It wasn’t just Hillary either. There are clear links to former President Barack Obama’s administration as well, Levin says. He goes on to point out that this makes it clear why Rep. Adam Schiff and the “Democratic media” are fighting so hard to squash the story.

“Hillary Clinton colluded with the Russians. But it appears the FBI colluded with the Russians, too. Whether it was witting or unwitting, it doesn’t matter.” Levin said. “That’s a fact. So the senior level of the FBI tried to interfere with this election as well.”

Levin said the investigation into Russian collusion “transition[ed] from a counter-intelligence investigation to a criminal investigation when [former FBI Director James] Comey, of all things, confesses to being a leaker,” Levin said.

“Why would the Russians want Donald Trump to be president when they could get everything they want from Hillary Clinton?” he later pointed out.
