Tim Kaine’s Son Arrested Following Minnesota Anti-Trump Riot

“Woody” Kaine is in a heap of trouble.

The youngest son of U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine – Hillary’s running mate – was one of six people arrested last weekend after counter-protesters disrupted a “March 4 Trump” rally at in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Linwood Michael Kaine, who goes by “Woody”, 24, and our others were arrested on suspicion of “second-degree riot” after the rally at the Minnesota State Capitol, TwinCities.com is reporting. A sixth person was arrested for disorderly conduct.

The counter-protesters clashed with Trump supporters in the Capitol rotunda after they tried to disrupt the event with air horns, chants and whistles. At one point, someone even set off a smoke bomb.

Woody Kaine is a Minneapolis resident who attended Carleton College. He was released from the Ramsey County Jail Tuesday morning “pending further investigation.”

While he was arrested and held for nearly three days, no charges have been filed yet.

St. Paul City Attorney Samuel Clark is reviewing the case for possible misdemeanor charges.

Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine, a St. Paul native, released a Tuesday night statement through a spokesperson to the Pioneer Press.

“We love that our three children have their own views and concerns about current political issues,” he said.

Really, Tim? and do you “love” that your child (who apparently has his own views) is also a law-breaking little jerk? Hmmm. Guess that’s not important, huh? Wow, you must be proud. After all, the acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree, does it?
