POLICE DEPARTMENTS FEEL CITIZEN BACKLASH

no-sale2Volume of Gun Manufacturers, Retailers Refusing to Sell to Police Virtually Exploding

  Jaye Ryan, June 18, 2014

The common conception that gun manufacturers will do darned near anything to sell guns is coming to a screeching halt: The volume of manufacturers and even retailers who are taking a definitive stand for our Second Amendment rights, and other Constitutional issues, are about to pop out of the frame.

So far, at a quickly increasing tally, 44 manufacturers have issued statements that so long as a state represses the right to bear arms and law enforcement enforces it, the named manufacturer will exercise its right to refuse service. That means no guns, no ammunition, no supplies and no repair or adjustment services. And so far, that stance doesn’t mean just bulk service. Not even individual officers or deputies or agents, etc., from the same or different states become customers and not just short-term visitors.

Just a sample of leaders who have cut off supplying law enforcement as a protest against these unconstitutional laws are Barrett Firearms, Citizen Arms, JCW Industries, Tier One Arms, Norton Firearms, Evolution Weaponry, Doublestar Corporation and Kiss Tactical, to name only a few.

Every manufacturer whose statement I read stressed still serving private individuals who are not employed within law enforcement, regardless of level, jurisdiction or personal opinions. So don’t be alarmed when Deputy Dawg is encouraged from the counter. Just step up and let them know what you need.

What’s very heartwarming is that the participants aren’t just “the big guys.” Take Old Grouch’s Real Military Supplies, for example. This small-town, country store operation in Clyde, North Carolina has jumped into the Constitutional protest with both feet forward.

Their immediate-issue statement included:

“In support of our customers in the state of New York, effective today we are cancelling all orders to any state or municipal government agency customers in the New York and will accept no more. While we can’t stop the trampling of rights that is occurring there, we certainly can make sure we don’t assist in it in any way going forward.”

So far, there has been little noticeable result of the bans, but as more organizations join, the higher the waves become. http://downtrend.com/jaye-ryan/volume-of-gun-manufacturers-retailers-refusing-to-sell-to-police-virtually-exploding/
