The 1995 Oklahoma City Bombing: Explosive Evidence of a Cover-up

How many people are aware that Oklahoma police office, Don Browning, one of the first to arrive on the bomb site had his life threatened after he testified in court how the FBI not only interrupted rescue operations by chasing first responders away from the blast site but afterwards removed a security camera in such a way as to create the impression that it was never there!

While assisting in the rescue of a woman trapped in the rubble, ‘Gunny’ and I were ordered out of the Building by an FBI agent. The other non-federal rescuers were also ordered to leave the Building with me, which I thought was strange given the carnage and need to move quickly in hopes of locating and hopefully saving more victims trapped by the blast.

That same morning, I observed men wearing jackets

with ‘FBI’ printed on the back removing the surveillance

video cameras from the exterior of the Murrah Federal

Building. …

I did think it odd that the FBI’s removal of those cameras was taking place while many people were still trapped alive in the rubble.”

In another venue Browning declared:

I was told by an agent an FBI agent … that people like me often ended up dead.”

How many people are aware of a March 2023 CNN article titled, WHY DID THIS COP TURN UP DEAD?

The victim was Oklahoma City police officer, Terry Yeakey, who saved at least three people from the ruins of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building on April 19, 1995.

The article explains how, “Associates said Yeakey was surprised to see so many federal agents, apparently dressed in riot gear, on the scene [mere] moments after the blast.”

It continues with:

And he had questions about the source of the explosion. According to his sister Lashon Hargrove, ‘you know how they said the truck bomb blew in? He saw evidence of blowing out,’ or signs of a blast that appeared to have come from inside the building.”

Barely more than a year later Yeakey’s car was found abandoned on a remote road in Canadian County, Oklahoma around 6 p.m. on May 8, 1996. According to a sheriff’s report the car was locked and the windows were rolled up. A deputy looked inside and saw a Bible, an empty gun holster, a razor blade, and a “large amount of blood.”

So, according to a sheriff’s report Yeakey evidently cut his own wrists, arms and neck with a razor blade, profusely bled inside his car, then abandoned the car remembering to lock the car doors. Even more bizarre is that Yeakey’s body was found in a ditch, about a mile and-a-half from the car! As it turns out the body wasn’t that hard to find – all the police had to do was follow the blood trail. Surprisingly his body was found with a bullet wound in his skull.

The outlandish death was officially declared a suicide. No autopsy. Case closed.

How many people are aware of solid evidence indicating the existence of an Iraqi terrorist cell operating inside Oklahoma City?

Six months prior to the Bombing, a Palestinian property owner, Samir Khalil, hired former Iraqi soldiers to do maintenance work at his low-income rental houses in Oklahoma City. In the early 1990s Khalil was prosecuted for federal insurance fraud and sent to prison.

Just prior to the Bombing Assistant US Attorney Ted Richardson had been investigating Samir Khalil for income tax evasion and HUD violations. Curiously as the investigation was ready to proceed to a grand jury it was abruptly terminated. According to an article in the New Republic what happened afterwards is far-fetched absurdAfter the Khalil investigation was terminated Richardson’s body was found in his car:

The official government public position on the case was that Richardson committed suicide from a self-inflicted shotgun blast to his chest in his car.

Richardson who was married, was a sports hunter and active with his sons in the Boys Scouts and his church evidently shot himself in the chest with a shotgun ala Ernest Hemingway.

How many people are aware that Air Force General Ben Partin, the non-nuclear weapons expert for the Pentagon, stridently claimed that a fertilizer bomb located inside the Ryder truck rented by Tim McVeigh, parked 20-30 feet from the Murrah Building, could not have sheared the steel-reinforced columns that supported the building? Partin further contended that the only way to severe the columns was by attaching demolition charges directly to them. Aware that such destruction produces a distinctive pattern on the severed columns Partin flew from his home in Alexandria, VA to Oklahoma City and took photographs of the sheared columns that manifested the tell-tale profile signature.

It defies not only physics but common sense to suggest that a bomb blast would cause larger, stronger columns to collapse while not affecting smaller columns, or that it would leave standing columns that are closer [to the truck bomb] and take out identical columns that are farther away.” – General Ben Partin https://web.archive.org/web/20021018231656/http://www.thenewamerican.com/tna/1995/vo11no16/vo11no16_partin.htm

Recall that police officer Terence Yeakey claims he saw evidence of inside explosions judging from office debris blown outwards from the Murrah Building.

General Partin is not the only distinguished expert that refutes the ammonium nitrate bomb explanation. Nuclear physicist Dr. Samuel Cohen, inventor of the neutron bomb, who spent more than half a century deeply involved in scientific work on weapons systems says in part:

I believe that the demolition charges in the building placed inside at certain key concrete columns did the primary damage to the Murrah Federal Building.”

Dr. Frederick Hansen, who for more than 20 years was a research scientist with NASA where he became chief of the Fluid Mechanics Branch and, later, chief of the Physical Gas Dynamics Branch where he supervised construction of the world’s most powerful research shock tube, and conducted experiments using high explosives. Regarding the Murrah Building Dr. Hansen stated:

Everything considered, it is hard to avoid the conclusion that only an explosive detonated right at the column could have sheared it.”

Eglin Blast Effects Study

After the attack, US Air Force explosives experts at Eglin Air Force Base tested the official story by conducting a study of a three-story structure that resembled the Murrah Building structurally. The study, concluded that the explosive force from the fertilizer bomb could not possibly have caused the pattern of destruction seen in the Murrah Building.

Partin drafted a letter which he personally delivered to the Capitol offices of 56 members of Congress on May 18th, 1995. The letter stated in part, “A careful examination of the collapsed column bases would readily reveal a failure mode produced by a demolition charge. This evidence would be so critical, a separate and independent assessment should be made before a building demolition team destroys the evidence forever.”

General Partin’s urgent plea to preserve the building went unheeded. On May 23, 1995 the Murrah Building was demolished and the rubble was hauled away.

But Partin was not alone in advocating that the Murrah Building did not have to be razed.

An article from the New American explains:

Architect Ed Kirkpatrick arrived at the Murrah Building shortly after the April 19th explosion and was one of the main structural safety consultants in the early phases of the rescue effort. Most of the building was, in his opinion, structurally sound and worth restoring. ‘I thought they were much too hasty in bringing it down.’ Jim Loftisthe architect who designed the award-winning building, also agreed that the structure was sound and could be restored. ‘I think technologically we could have removed the damaged part of the building and rebuilt it, and I was for that.’”

Indeed, “cover-up” and “burying the evidence” have taken on special meaning since Oklahoma City. Unfortunately we live in a country where very few individuals be they in Congress or the major media, have the moral courage to assure that the truth does not get buried in the clutter.
