When we and others posted this story last week about two different Uvalde “fathers” of the same ten-year-old little girl appearing on separate news networks, the new cover story then became, “Oh, one was her step-father.” This updated report shoots that flimsy excuse to pieces. What are the odds of a father and step-father having the same last name? Both men claimed to be her father and nobody mentioned “step-father” throughout either interview.
